new venture in December 2008, called "Sugar Island Cupcakes"!!!
Jumbo, Yummy, Gourmet Cupcakes are sold every Saturday morning at the Downtown Punta Gorda Farmers Market, in Punta Gorda, Florida.
The Market runs from 8 am to 1 pm every Saturday (we close at Noon in July/August). We are by the old courthouse on Taylor between Marion and Olympia in downtown Punta Gorda, Florida, between 41 South and 41 North.
Owner, Cindi Murphy has been developing recipes and great flavor combinations for years. The jumbo cupcakes are $3 each.
Our most popular flavor is Dark Chocolate Chip. Other regular, popular flavors are Red Velvet, Boston Creamer and Coconut Overdose. Of course, the cupcakes have yummy fillings, great icing and fun toppings like Coconut, crystal sugar and jimmies!
